COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Downtown Coldwater is set to heat up this Saturday, , as the annual Love Local event returns from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m..
Residents and visitors can enjoy the signature Best of Bowls Soup and Chili Cook-Off, where local restaurants and organizations pair up with downtown merchants to offer free samples of classic and creative recipes.
Attendees are invited to cast their votes for their favorite spoonful to help determine this year’s winner while exploring the various downtown businesses.
Beyond the savory tastings, the celebration features a range of family-friendly activities and live entertainment, Russell Gates will perform live music at the Museum Gallery, and participating merchants will offer exclusive in-store promotions and Valentine’s Day gift specials.
Those who participate in the voting process will also be entered into a drawing for a Love Local gift basket.
