BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school basketball Wednesday, Bronson beat Three Rivers in non-conference action 49-47.
The Bronson JV team also won 49-41.
Union City lost at Springport 76-43.
The Coldwater Legg Middle School 8th grade team had 9 players score to secure a 35-24 win over Parma Western.
Mary Frances Perocho led the team with 10 points. Olivia Rinard scored 6 points and led the rebounding effort with 7. Mya McBride added 6 points. Natalie Esterline chipped in 4 points and 3 rebounds.
The 7th grade A team lost a heartbreaker against Parma 40-38. Leading the Lady Cardinals was Karagen Bucklin with 17 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 block. Carly VanAken had 13 points and 3 rebounds, McKenna Vainer had 3 points and 6 rebounds, Alivia Wilkins had 2 points and 4 rebounds, and Hayden Riley had 2 points and 1 steal.
The 7th grade B team lost to Parma Western 42-7. Ava Galliers had 3 points and 3 rebounds, Jordi Wilson had 2 points, 3 steals, and 3 rebounds, Evelyn McRea had 2 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals, and one block, and Lily Raymond and Hailey Granger each with 2 rebounds.
The Legg Middle School teams take on Marshall Monday.
