David Earl Vorce, III, 68, of Bronson, passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
He was born December 28, 1957 in Sturgis, Michigan to David and Bertha (Modert) Vorce, Jr. He grew up with a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the outdoors that would stay with him throughout his life.
June 6, 2000, David married the love of his life, Marcia Bowsher. Together they shared many years of love, laughter, and companionship until her passing November 24, 2020. Their bond remained a cherished part of David’s heart.
David dedicated 38 years of loyal service to Bronson Precision Products until the company’s closing. He later retired from Modert Excavating, continuing his reputation as a dependable and hardworking man. His commitment to his work was matched only by his dedication to those he loved.
A true outdoorsman, David found his greatest joy in farming, fishing, mushroom hunting, and simply being outside. Nature was his refuge and his playground. Whether in a field, a boat, or the woods, he was happiest with fresh air and open space around him. David treasured time spent with family and friends. Known for his quick wit and playful spirit, he was always ready with a practical joke and a warm smile. His laughter and lighthearted nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
David’s life was defined by hard work, love for the outdoors, and a genuine enjoyment of the simple pleasures of life. He leaves behind many memories that will be forever cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
David leaves behind his mother Bertha Vorce of Bronson; his siblings Connie (Mario) Hernandez, Sr., Teri (Pat) Martin both of Bronson, Karen Williams of Nottowa, Dan (Becky) Vorce of Coldwater; his Uncle Earl (Janice) Modert, Aunt Barbara Henderson; his many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his wife Marcia Bowsher-Vorce, David was preceded in death by his father David E. Vorce, Jr. and his brother-in-law Robert Williams, Sr.
