SHERWOOD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance following a late-night burglary at the Sherwood Library on January 15, 2026.
Authorities report that an unidentified individual broke into the facility around midnight and fled with several stolen items. This incident marks a troubling trend for the local branch, as it is the second break-in reported at the library within the past few months.

Investigators are asking anyone who recognizes the individual involved or has information regarding the theft to come forward.
