COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School’s 27th annual Mardi Gras Auction this past Saturday raised a record-breaking $151,000 to support staff and students.
The live auction, featuring auctioneer Steve Burns, generated $60,350 of the total, with highlights including an $8,000 trip to Hawaii and a new furnace system valued at $5,000.
The event hosted nearly 300 guests in the school gymnasium and 40 online participants, opening with remarks from Bishop Edward Lohse and Father James Adams.

The evening included competitive silent bidding, various games, raffles, and was made possible by the efforts of volunteers and the generosity of business sponsors and individual donors.
