COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A man whose goal is to “honor everyday Americans and veterans” stopped in Coldwater Friday afternoon as part of his 5th Run For America, a 5,500-mile solo journey across 20 states over 260 days.
Noah Coughlan’s run will culminate July 4, 2026 in Hawaii to celebrate the United States’ 250th Semiquincentennial anniversary.
This final transcontinental run will make Coughlan only the third person ever to cross all 50 states on foot.
Coughlan met up with active duty service members from Battle Creek, local veterans, and others from the community in Cannon Park at Coldwater’s Four Corners for about 30 minutes before continuing his journey, with Sturgis as his next stop. He was escorted into town by the Coldwater Police Department.
