COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Everybody that got on the floor for Coldwater scored Wednesday night, as the Cardinals blew out Harper Creek 61-21 in a makeup game at the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium.
The Cardinals led the Beavers 20-4 after the first quarter and 34-10 at halftime. Coldwater clamped down in the third, outscoring Harper Creek 23-4 to invoke the running clock for the final stanza.
Mya Porter led all scorers with 16 points and added 4 rebounds and 5 steals, while Audi Bucklin had a career-high 15 points, 4 boards, and 3 blocks.
The Cardinals improved to 12-7 overall and 9-2 in the Interstate 8. They will travel to Hastings Friday night.

Coldwater’s JV girls team made it a sweep of the evening as they picked up their first win of the season, defeating Harper Creek 29-23. Claire Paul and Ellerie Bucklin had 8 points apiece.
In other girls basketball action Wednesday night, Bronson fell to 4-14 on the season with a 51-14 loss at Sturgis. The Vikings will travel to Stockbridge on Friday.
