LANSING, MI (WTVB) – Three bowlers from Bronson, and two from Quincy, qualified for next Saturday’s MHSAA Division 3 Singles Finals at Jax 60 in Jackson following Thursday’s Regional hosted by Lansing Catholic at Royal Scot.
Bronson junior Clayton Shortridge won the Boys Regional title with a combined six-game score of 1316, including a high game of 239. His teammate, junior Drew McConn, was runner-up with a score of 1235, including a high game of 237. Quincy junior Drew Carlisle was third, rolling a high game of 267 and a six-game total of 1210. The top seven finishers at each regional advance to the Singles Finals.

Bronson freshman Audrey Shiery finished third in the Girls Regional; she had a six-game total of 1039 and a high game of 209. Quincy junior Ally Janssen finished in a tie for fifth place with a score of 978 and a high game of 180.

Coldwater will be in action this weekend at the Division 2 Regional hosted by Vicksburg at Continental Lanes in Kalamazoo. Team competition will be Friday, with the Singles action on Saturday.
