COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater and Coldwater Main Street are calling for volunteers to participate in the annual Downtown Earth Month Cleanup tomorrow. Starting at 2:00 p.m., community members, student groups, and local service clubs will gather at the Four Corners Park fire pit for task assignments, which include picking up litter, sweeping alcoves, and washing storefront windows. The initiative aims to prepare the downtown district for a busy upcoming season of festivals and outdoor events.
To support the effort, the city will provide work gloves and trash bags, though volunteers are welcome to bring their own tools like rakes or leaf blowers. No prior registration is required; participants can simply show up to lend a hand.
As a token of appreciation, all volunteers are invited to a complimentary pizza dinner at the Broadway Grille on South Monroe Street immediately following the cleanup.
