COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Car Show & Swap Meet returns to the Branch County Fairgrounds in Coldwater two weeks from today, on Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9.
This revitalized Mother’s Day weekend tradition, now managed by the Branch County Fair board, features an expansive display of classic cars and motorcycles alongside hundreds of swap meet and craft vendor spaces. Saturday, May 9, will feature the “Blessing of the Bikes” at noon and a “Muffler Rap” contest at 12:30 p.m. before the main show activities conclude. Spectator admission is $5 per person, while children under 12 are admitted free.
A major highlight for the 2026 event is the return of the Saturday afternoon car cruise through downtown Coldwater. After a one-year hiatus
According to Fair Manager Alyssa Blonde the cruise will feature a new, shorter route approved by the Coldwater City Council to better manage traffic.
Organizers expect high attendance following last year’s successful resurrection of the event, which drew over 800 vehicles and thousands of spectators.
