BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson’s girls soccer team ended a two-game losing streak Wednesday with a 2-0 home shutout of Stockbridge.
Journey Smith scored in the 13th minute, assisted by Daisy Sikorski. Riley Graham added an unassisted goal with two minutes left in the contest. Elizabeth Ortiz stopped 14 Panther shots as she recorded her third shutout of the season.
The Vikings improved to 4-5-1 overall and 3-3 in the Big 8. They will play at Calhoun Christian Thursday.
DELTA TOWNSHIP, MI – Coldwater improved to 6-3-1 overall after an 8-0 shutout at Waverly Tuesday night.
Aivry Chavez led the way with four goals and an assist, while Juliana McCuen scored two goals. Samantha Bernard had a goal and four assists, and Etta Machan added a goal. Abby Garcia and Annamarie Baker had the other assists.
The Cardinals will visit Jackson Northwest on Friday.
