LANSING, MI (WTVB) – Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says her office has identified over two-point-one-million outdated voter registrations that have been removed or flagged for removal.
That includes over 180-thousand people who have not voted in at least 20 years.
Roughly one-and-a-half-million registrations have been canceled and another 600-thousand were marked inactive and could be removed after two federal election cycles if they don’t respond or vote. Since 2019, Michigan has registered over two-point-four-million voters.
