QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy’ track teams dominated both Reading and Springport Wednesday on Senior Night for the Orioles. Quincy’s boys defeated Reading 100-35 and Stockbridge 90-47. The Lady Orioles beat Reading 88-33 and Stockbridge 73-55.
For the Quincy boys, Clayton Benson won both hurdle races along with the 100m. Noah Rufenacht was a double winner in the high jump and long jump. Other winners include Noah Kelly in the 200m, Lincoln Sims in the shot put, Isaiah Staggs in the discus, and Tyler Miner in the pole vault. The Orioles also won the 4x800m relay.
For Quincy’s girls, Brookelyn Parker took first in the 200m and both hurdle races, and Addison Hasten was a double winner in the shot put and discus. Elizabeth Craig won the 400m, Piper Craig was first in the pole vault, Ashlyn Fickle won the high jump, and Riley Myers was first in the long jump.

The Orioles will travel to Berrien Springs Friday for the Shamrock Invitational.
SPRINGPORT, MI – Bronson and Union City were at Springport for a double-dual meet. On the boys side, Bronson beat Union City 88-40 and Springport 86-37, while Union City prevailed over Springport 65-59. In the girls meet, Union City defeated Springport 110-21 and Bronson 97-35. Bronson lost to Springport 55-47.
For the Bronson boys, Dalton Hoard was a triple winner in the 100m, 400m, and high jump. Stevie Wilson won both hurdle races, and Brayden Fritz was first in the shot put and discus. Denver Siler won the 800m, and the Vikings finished first in the 4×440 and 4x800m relays. Union City’s Noah June was a double winner in the 1600m and 3200m; the Chargers also won the 4x200m relay.
Union City also won eleven of the seventeen girls events. Attica Finch was a double winner in the 100m and 200m. Other winners include Lillian Eyre in the 400m, Kylie Creech in the 300m hurdles, Lydia Goodwin in the shot put, Olivia Olmsted in the discus, Keira Taylor in the pole vault, and Alaina Labar in the long jump. Union City also won the 4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x400m relays. Bronson’s Miriam Sanchez won both the 800m and 3200m, while Alonna Goodsell was first in the 1600m. The Vikings also won the 4x800m relay.

Both Bronson and Union City will be in action on Friday. The Vikings will be at the Constantine Invitational, while the Chargers will take part in the John Green Invitational at Mendon.
