QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The annual “Welcome Back to the Lake” celebration returns to Tip-Up Island this Saturday, offering local both residents and visitors a lively kickoff to the summer season.
Sponsored jointly by the Quincy Chamber of Commerce, the Quincy Historical Society, and the Marble Chain of Lakes Improvement Association, the longstanding event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Marilyn Ostrander with the Quincy Chamber says there will be lots to see and do.
She also says it will be a great time to learn the history of the chain of lakes that spans just over seventeen miles from the Quincy Historical Society
In addition to networking and getting reacquainted with seasonal neighbors, attendees can participate in prize drawings throughout the afternoon, including a highly anticipated Yeti Cooler giveaway.
