MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – Dark Horse Brewing Co. has consolidated its manufacturing and marketing operations at its Marshall facility, driving a 58% increase in production in 2025 and establishing the site as the primary hub for its diverse portfolio of beer, spirits, and flavored malt beverages.
This expansion includes the production of acclaimed labels like Altes and Altes Lite. The recently revived heritage brand and former official beer of the Detroit Tigers and Lions, as well Roak Brewing, featuring the fan-favorite Devil Dog Oatmeal Stout, while fueling local job growth with new positions and increased seasonal hiring.
The strategic shift acts as an economic driver for the area, with local officials highlighting the investments as a key indicator of Marshall’s growing economic future. Beyond production, the company continues to function as a community anchor with a robust summer event lineup scheduled at the Marshall facility including Monday Trivia, live music on Thursdays and Saturdays, a Pre-BluesFest event in June, 80s Night on July 18,
and the Motorfest After-Party on August 1.
