COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- Coldwater Community Schools and Chartwells are launching the “SUN Meals To-Go” program to provide local youth with consistent nutrition throughout the summer break.
Starting June 2, families can visit the Legg Middle School parking lot every Tuesday to collect a full week’s worth of food. Each eligible child or teen will receive seven days of both breakfast and lunch, totaling 14 meals per pickup, to ensure no student goes hungry while school is out of session.
The drive-thru service is designed for maximum convenience, allowing parents to pick up meals between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. without their children needing to be present in the vehicle. The program is open to all individuals 18 years old and younger and will run through August 4.
