COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The average price for gas is 20-cents lower per gallon in Michigan to begin the new work week. Triple-A Michigan says drivers are now paying an average of $4.62, that’s still up 63-cents from last month and a dollar-42 more than last year. The National average is at $4.49 per gallon.
Around Branch County the average this morning is at $4.74 per gallon, In Hillsdale County the average sits at $4.45 per gallon, St Joseph County $4.64 and it will cost you $4.57 per gallon in Calhoun County. The cheapest gas is still by far across the state line in Indiana where many stations in Steuben County are now under $3.70 per gallon.
Oil prices did dip overnight to just over $93.00 per barrel.
