Carter Allen Pish, 19, of Bronson, lived more in his short years than many do in a lifetime. He passed away Monday, May 25, 2026, doing what he loved most, riding and chasing adventure, in a tragic ATV accident.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Dearth Community Center in Coldwater with Pastor Joshua Englehart from Agape Center Ministries officiating.
Interment will follow at West Jamestown Cemetery in Fremont, IN.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 1, 2026 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Carter was born November 1, 2006 in Coldwater, MI to Justin and Suzanne (Sickels) Pish. He graduated from Quincy High School in 2025, where he played football and was a member of the trap shooting team.
Carter was currently working as an electrician technician for Clemens Food Group and had previously spent many of his school years working with NG Michael Construction.
He helped on the family farm and was very active with the Branch County Fair and the Kinderhook 4H Club, where he learned to breed, raise and show goats. What started as a passion quickly grew into his own business and brand, C. Pish Show Stock, sharing his knowledge, advice and love of livestock, selling goats for show to other 4-H kids.
Carter was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, loud engines, adrenaline and adventure. His truck was one of his prized possessions. Carter lived life full throttle, “Hell on Wheels” was more than a saying, it was how he embraced every moment with no fear and endless passion.
Above all else, Carter loved people and they loved him back. His smile could light up a room, and he always had time for a hug. He was full of life and although his time here was far too short, the impact Carter made on his family, friends and community will never fade.
Carter is survived by his parents Justin & Suzanne Pish of Bronson; his brother Blaine (Jazlynn Kies) Pish of Coldwater; his grandparents Gene & Marianne Sickels of Bronson, Diane Pish of Montgomery; aunts and uncles Sara (Brad) Stroble of Bronson, Michael (Jen Powers) Sickels of Bronson, Matthew (Mandy) Pish of Camden, Gerl & Melanie Pish of Quincy, Shyann & William Goins of LaFollette, TN, many cousins and his bonus family Ryan, Shane, Miley and Ryp Poindexter of Allen.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gerl D. Pish, Kaye Longardner, and his bonus brother Ryzer Poindexter.
