Caleb R. Brown, 31, of Bronson passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026 in Bronson following a hard-fought battle against cancer.
A memorial service and celebration of life will take place June 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the First United Methodist Church in Bronson, MI.
A service of remembrance will be followed by a casual gathering to celebrate the joy, love, and laughter that Caleb brought to our lives. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.
Caleb was born December 27, 1994 in Angola, IN to Robert and Darleen (Welsh) Brown. He graduated from Angola High School in 2013 and continued his education at University of Saint Francis and Defiance College, where he proudly played football.
February 22, 2022 he married the love of his life, Emily Ludwick.
Caleb had a strong work ethic and dedicated himself to helping others throughout his career. He worked at Wenzel Metal Spinning and as a driver for Roehl Transport before becoming employed with Bronson Community Schools as a paraprofessional.
Caleb had recently begun pursuing his dream of becoming a teacher, returning to school with a passion for making a difference in the lives of students.
Caleb was a self-proclaimed nerd who proudly embraced the things he loved. He enjoyed spending time playing video games, Magic: The Gathering, and Dungeons & Dragons. More recently, he discovered a love for golfing and also enjoyed watching college football.
Above all else, Caleb cherished spending time with his family and loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Caleb is survived by his wife, Emily Ludwick of Bronson; his parents Robert and Darleen Brown; his father and mother in law Randy and Faith Ludwick; his siblings Josh Brown and Katlyn Brown; brother and sister in laws Jennifer (George) Matos, Ted Ludwick, Danny Ludwick; his nieces and nephews, Anthony Wright, Connor Ludwick, Porter Ludwick, Wyatt Ludwick, Ariana Matos, Xander Matos; his Aunt Danette (Lance) Angus; and cousins Hannah (Evan) Towns and Allison Angus.
