COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Three positions on the Coldwater Community Schools Board of Education will be filled in November, with the seats of a trio of longtime board members expiring.
The terms for board President Dr. Edward Lake, Vice President Jeff Holbrook, and Secretary Clair Dean are all expiring. Lake has the longest tenure on the board, serving since 2001. Dean has been on the board since 2010, with Holbrook joining in 2016.
So far Dean has filled reelection paperwork with the Branch County Clerk’s office for another six year term, as have John Towers and Heather Harvey.
The election will take place November 3, 2026. The deadline to file nominating petitions is July 21 at 4:00 p.m.
