Craig William Jukich, 68, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026 at his home in Union City.
In keeping with his wishes, Craig will be cremated and the family will host a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026, followed by a dinner at 11:00 a.m. at the Burlington Church of God, 300 E. Leroy Street, Burlington, MI.
The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Craig was born June 16, 1958 to Nikola and Virginia (Davis) Jukich in Sacramento, California. He graduated from El Camino High School with the Class of 1976.
He worked as the general manager of Chase Tire & Break, fleet tire man at Waste Management, and a diesel mechanic at Strategic Materials in Sacramento. After relocating to Michigan permanently in 2008, he worked as a shop foreman at Kalamazoo Boiler Company and Monarch Welding & Engineering in Union City.
Craig was a phenomenal storyteller and the funniest person in any room. He was a Triple-A Baseball star, lifelong genius mechanic and car lover, NASCAR fan, huge animal lover, and had a great interest in everything paranormal or extraterrestrial. He left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Craig is survived by his partner of 35 years, Debra George; his four children, Sean (Kristina) Jukich, Lyndsey (Ethan) Schatz of Sacramento, California, Cole (Ashley) McFarren of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Breanna (Elaura) George Jukich of Niles, Michigan; his brother Mike Jukich of Castro Valley, California; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Tami Jukich Espinoza.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
