LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has secured a temporary restraining order preventing Kalshi from offering online wagers on sports to Michigan residents.
She sued the company in March, alleging the derivatives exchange and prediction market company violated the state’s Lawful Sports Betting Act.
Nessel says Kalshi also conducts business in the state without the licensing approval of the Michigan Gaming Control Board in violation of the LSBA.
As a result of the restraining order, Kalshi cannot engage in or advertise its internet sports betting operations in Michigan while the lawsuit continues.

Typical of the liberal scumbag like herself…. The people want it, she votes against it.The people don’t want blue oval, or all these battery plants or a I.Data places, and she still allows them… mi Is nothing but pot holes and corupt libreals….. Well, allow all these casinos…. And there major online beting even michigan casinos or casinos in vegas…. But if it’s something like calcium, which doesn’t make major billions ripping people off with rigged algorithms you can literally bet on anything …like will i get a triggered libreal response to my comment or will my comment be deleted, not just sports … All the gambling that michigan pushes on our seniors and the people at every gas station. And every commercial at every restaurant or bar….. But a conservative owned company, they will say no to everytime….libreals have ruined this state cant wait to move.
LoL.
Do you know why Michigan is doing this? What their justification is for pursuing the restraining order. Just curious if you agree with any of their concerns.
