COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A severe storm that roared through Branch County late Friday afternoon has left over 2,200 Consumers Energy customers in the county without power.
Estimated restoration time on the Consumers Energy Outage Page for most of Branch County shows 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
All total, over 126,000 customers were without power statewide as of 7:15 p.m.
While there was no widespread damage in the area during the storm, there were reports of a tree down blocking both lanes of U.S. 12 on Quincy’s east side around 5:00 p.m.
Temperatures dropped from the low 90’s to the upper 60’s after the storm roared through.
