COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The average price for a gallon of gas in Michigan is back under four-dollars a gallon. Triple-A Michigan says the price fell 14-cents in the past week to $3.96, that’s a quarter less than we were paying a month ago.
In Branch County the average is down 16-cents per gallon from last Monday to $3.91 in St Joseph County it’s $3.95 per gallon and $3.85 in Hillsdale County it will cost you on average $3.87 per gallon in Calhoun County.
Indiana sill has the lowest gas prices in the nation at $3.04 per gallon with many stations in Steuben County now well under $3.00 per gallon. Just prior to the holiday weekend Indiana Governor Mike Braun announced he was extending his states gas tax holiday to now run through early August.
The National average has dropped to a four month low of $3.97 per gallon
Oil prices this morning are just above $67 dollars per barrel
