COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The historic Tibbits Opera House, is officially preparing to transport audiences back to L.A.’s Sunset Strip with its upcoming production of the hit musical Rock of Ages, opening this Friday.
Directed by Tibbits Opera House’s own Artistic Director Brian Sage, the electrifying, Tony-nominated show is part of the venue’s 63rd consecutive Tibbits Summer Theatre season.
Audiences can expect an unstoppable, high-energy soundtrack packed with iconic 1980s rock anthems as the story follows characters Drew and Sherrie in their hilarious, guitar-solo-filled quest to save the legendary Bourbon Room.
The highly anticipated production features an exceptional cast including Hill as Drew Boley, Sydney Mistretta as Sherrie Christian, and Brendan Andrea as Dennis Dupree, alongside an extensive professional design and production crew.

Sponsored by Frederick Family Dental, the show is scheduled for evening performances at 7:30 PM on July 10, 11, and 16–18, with special matinee shows at 2:00 PM on July 15 and 16.
Because the musical contains mature language and crude humor, it carries an R rating. Theatergoers can purchase tickets—ranging from $20 to $46. You can and find more information directly on the official Tibbits website https://tibbits.org/
