COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Southern Michigan Bank and Trust (SMBT) has appointed industry veteran Debbie Mahibir-Poon as the new Branch Manager for its Tekonsha and Union City offices.
With over 25 years of experience, including recent roles at Old National Bank and Advia Credit Union, Mahibir-Poon is a Certified Lender and Notary Public.
SMBT Vice President Lori Neill highlighted Mahibir-Poon’s expertise in customer relationship management and business development as key to strengthening the bank’s regional presence.
Based in Battle Creek, Mahibir-Poon is also active in local community and school organizations.
