COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Early voting gets underway on Saturday for the August 4th Michigan Primaries, with several state and federal elections on the ballot as well as the Branch County Republican race for prosecutor. For all Branch County voters, early voting will take place at the Dearth Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day through Sunday, August 2nd.
Branch County Clerk Terry Kubasiak says if you are planting to vote early, remember to bring a photo ID:
For voters who have already cast an absentee ballot, if a candidate has dropped out of one of the races, Kubasiak says you do have an option to make sure your vote still counts:
She also says if you requested an absentee ballot and have not sent it in, you can bring it to the Dearth Center and physically run it through the machine.
