COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – All Coldwater City and Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU) offices will close early at 10:30 a.m. this morning, to allow city employees to attend the funeral services for longtime Public Safety Director Joe Scheid. That is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Dearth Community Center.
Last night prior to the beginning of the regularly scheduled city council meeting Mayor Tom Kramer called for a moment of silence to honor the late Director of Public Safety
Following this mornings funeral Scheid will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery, area law enforcement agencies from the county will be assisting in handling calls in Coldwater to allow CPD officers to attend the services.
