Ashlee Marie Hoath, 26, of Union City passed away Friday, August 14, 2026.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Ashlee’s life to be held Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the family’s residence, 211 Sullivan Rd. Union City, MI.
Visitation will be held that afternoon from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at the family’s residence.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Ashlee was born February 9, 2000 in Marshall, Michigan to Jared Hoath and Shannon Burdick.
Ashlee was someone who embraced life with a creative and entrepreneurial spirit. She enjoyed making crafts and taking the time to can vegetables from the family garden. She was always looking for her next opportunity, viewing life through an entrepreneur’s perspective and finding joy in discovering new ways to make money. Whether through her past cleaning business or marketing and selling products online, Ashlee approached each new idea with enthusiasm, determination, and a willingness to try something new.
While she had many interests and dreams, what mattered most to Ashlee was her family. Above all else, she truly cherished the time she spent with those she loved. Her family was her greatest source of happiness, and the love she had for them was evident in the way she treasured being together and making memories.
Ashlee will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her creative spirit, entrepreneurial nature, and, most importantly, her love for her family will remain a lasting part of the memories they hold dear.
Ashlee leaves behind her father Jared Hoath of Union City, MI; her mother Shannon Tigchelaar of Athens, MI; her siblings Jozalynn Hoath, Breslyn Hoath, Alexis Williams, Devin King, Dylan King; and her grandparents Stephanie Campbell of Yuma, AZ, Dawn Dodgson of Leonidas, MI, and Ron (Deb) Balowski of Bronson, MI.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother Angela Balowski, her uncle Billy Balowski, and her grandfathers Orville Hoath and Rick Burdick.
