QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The annual Quincy Daze Festival kicks off today, kick starting a three-day celebration of music, food, and fun in Quincy.
The festivities begin this evening with a live performance by the Pomegranate Whiskey Band from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. in the MCCU Performance Pavilion.
On Friday, the excitement builds as the festival’s beer tent and food vendors open at 6:00 PM, followed by an evening of classic country tunes from the County Line Band starting at 6:30 p.m..
Saturday, marks the biggest day of the festival, featuring a packed lineup of events including an Arts and Crafts Show, a cornhole tournament, and special kids’ activities like inflatables and a bike drawing.
A major highlight of the day is the 20th Annual Quincy Daze Car Show, running from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m at Village Park on North Main Street, the rain-or-shine car show offers free registration starting at 10:00 a.m. and will feature a special tribute to the 1970 Pontiac GTO, with the first 75 registered vehicles receiving commemorative dash plaques.
The car show benefits the Quincy Historical Society Scholarship Fund and concludes with an automotive trivia quiz alongside 15 custom awards sponsored by local businesses.
