THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – Cross country teams from Bronson and Union City took part in the the 26th Annual three Rivers Big Hill Invitational Tuesday afternoon at Meyers-Broadway Park.
Bronson senior Alonna Goodsell had the top finish in the girls race, winning with a time of 22:15.8, as the Vikings ran to a sixth place finish with 117 points. Temmates Miriam Sanchez finished 18th, Piper Grigsby was 19th, Adelynn Cosby was 48th, and Camilla Albarran placed 49th.
Union City did not have enough runners for a team score. Allison Gautsche was 15th, Jasreman Kaur 28th, McKenzie Hawks 44th, and Carly Smith 50th.
In the boys race, Union City placed fifth with 137 points. Coullen Decker finished 11th, Noah June was 23rd, Luke McKown 32nd, Jack Dibert 40th, and Anthony Mahley 45th.
Bronson was run runner shy of posting a team score, as Adam Franks was 10th, Brayton Cosby 12th, Denver Siler 24th, and Rylan Fincham 34th.

Union City will next run in the Hillsdale Boosters Invitational next Wednesday, September 2nd. They will join Bronson at the Harper Creek Optimist Invitational on Tuesday, September 8th.
