COLDWATR, MI (WTVB) – Insight Hospital & Medical Center Coldwater is inviting area residents and families to its upcoming Community Health Festival on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The free community event will bring together health resources, local organizations, family activities, entertainment, and opportunities to connect with healthcare providers. The festival will be held at 370 E. Chicago St. in Coldwater and is designed to provide something for everyone while helping community members learn more about their health and the services
available close to home.
Organizer Courtney Bean says “Healthcare is about more than treating illness. It is about building relationships, providing resources, and helping our community live healthier lives,”
Festival activities will include:
– Free health screenings and health information
– Health and service information from Insight Coldwater and community organizations
– Provider meet-and-greet opportunities
– Kids games and a bounce house
– A free childrens bike raffle
– Live music from Pomegranate Whiskey Band
– Therapy animals
– And more family-friendly activities throughout the day
Community members will also have the opportunity to connect with local vendors and organizations, ask questions, learn about available healthcare services, and discover resources available throughout the area.
The event will be held rain or shine and admission is free, and the community is encouraged to bring family and friends for a fun-filled day focused on health, wellness, and community connection.
One of the highlights of this year s Community Health Festival will be free blood testing provided by the Insight Coldwater team.
Community members can pre-register for a free CBC, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), Lipid Panel, A1C, PSA, and TSH blood test.
Pre-registration is required, and space is limited. Blood draws will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
