COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater is entering the final days of its public comment window for the newly drafted Master Plan, giving residents a final opportunity to shape the community’s long-term development strategies.
The state-mandated 63-day public review period, which officially concludes on September 14, allows for community members to voice opinions on goals regarding economic growth, housing needs, and downtown vibrancy before the plan moves forward for official adoption.
Following the conclusion of this review window, the Coldwater Planning Commission will evaluate the feedback and host a formal public hearing before passing the framework to the City Council for final consideration.
Community members who wish to participate must submit their feedback or questions before the approaching mid-September deadline.
Submissions can be sent via email directly to Planning and Zoning Administrator Robert Hawley at rhawley@coldwatermi.gov, or delivered by mail to the City of Coldwater, Attn: Robert Hawley, 1 Grand St., Coldwater, MI 49036.
