HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – Branch County was well represented at Hillsdale’s Owens Park Wednesday for the 38th Annual Hillsdale Booster Club Invitational. In the boys race, Coldwater finished third with 100 points, while Quincy was fifth with 119 points and Union City sixth with 152 points. The girls race saw Coldwater take third place with 93 points, with Quincy finishing sixth with 129 points and Union City seventh with 166 points.

For the Cardinal boys, Luke Aerts was 11th, Sebastian Hernandez 17th, Lucas Newberry 19th, Drew Vanderpuyl 34th, and Collin Long 51st. For the Orioles, Hunter Walker took eighth, with Carter Feltner 28th, Nathan Dunn 30th, Coy Wood 40th, and Nolan King 56th. For the Chargers, Cullen Decker was 12th, Noah June 25th, Luke McKown 41st, Anthony Mahley 65th, and Jack Dibert 71st.

In the girls race for Coldwater, Gwen Eby was 12th, Ellerie Bucklin 19th, Mya McBride 20th, Ellie Aughenbaugh 26th, and Miyah Moore 32nd. For Quincy, Kendyl Musielewicz finished ninth, Lauren Tappenden 18th, Clare Robertson 43rd, Peyton Proctor 44th, and Lily Neubecker 54th. For Union City, Parker Williams was 23rd, McKenzie Hawks 49th, Jasreman Kaur 50th, Carly Smith 51st, and Allison Gautsche 52nd.

Union City will run at the Harper Creek Optimist Invitational next Tuesday, while Coldwater and Quincy will take part in next Wednesday’s Springport Invitational.
