COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Music lovers are invited to dig deep into their closets and find their vintage 1980’s fashon as the historic Tibbits Opera House welcomes back The 1985 and their Totally ‘80s Mixtape LIVE! Experience.
Scheduled for Saturday, November 21 at 7:00 p.m., the performance will feature the region’s premier 1980s tribute band, which has spent years touring Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.
Founded by Coldwater-connected musicians Lisa and Dan Vukmirovich (known on stage as Lisa and Danny Vee), the five-piece band delivers a full-stage experience complete with videos, lights, costumes, and covers spanning ’80s rock, pop, new wave, metal, and club hits.
The show will feature a special “On Your Feet” section at the Tibbits, allowing enthusiastic fans to stand and dance throughout the two-hour show without obstructing the view of other concert-goers.
Tickets for the performance range from $20 to $30 including fees, with pre-sales opening to Tibbits members at the Benefactor level and above on September 14, followed by the general public sale on September 21. Doors to the lobbies, art gallery, and Ghost Light Bar will open at 6:00pm.
