THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater senior outside hitter/middle blocker Aubrey Gebink recorded a career milestone during the Cardinals’ quad meet Monday at Three Rivers, as she notched her 500th career kill.
Coldwater lost to the host Wildcats 3 sets to 1 (25-13, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23). No report on their match against Schoolcraft was available at press time.
On Saturday, the Cardinals went 3-1 at the East Kentwood Classic, with wins against Lake Odessa Lakewood (16-25, 25-21, 26-24), East Kentwood (25-12, 25-21), and Fowler (25-13, 25-17) and a loss to St. Johns (25-22, 23-25, 25-22).
Coldwater will play their home opener against Parma Western on Wednesday. Coverage on WTVB will begin Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.
