COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater hosted 19 golf teams at the Coldwater Golf Course Friday in the annual Lady Cardinal Invitational. Harper Creek won the tournament with a score of 362, while Coldwater was just three strokes back in second place with a 365.
Coldwater was led by Aubrey Eberts, who once again came away as Medalist, shooting a round of 1-over-par 73. Her closest competitor, Harper Creek’s Haley Willi, shot a round of 80. Also for the Cardinals, Payton Longstreet came in 11th place with a 94, Alivia Arnold had a 96, Harper Anglin shot a 100 and McKinley Earles rounded out Coldwater’s scoring with a 107. Coldwater also had four individuals play as well, with Julianna Cowles shooting a 116, Kenna Niedzwiecki 121, Alana Houtz 124, and Molly Sabaitis 129.
Coldwater will next play at the Interstate 8 Conference Championship next Wednesday.
