COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU) will host its annual Household Hazardous Waste and Document Shredding Day this upcoming Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Branch County Fairgrounds.
Designed to safeguard local drinking water and natural resources from contamination, the event serves as a crucial environmental initiative for the region.
City Manager Keith Baker says collection services are open exclusively to residents within participating municipalities, which include the cities of Coldwater and Bronson, the Village of Quincy, and the townships of Algansee, Bethel, Bronson, Butler, Coldwater, Girard, Kinderhook, Ovid, Sherwood, and Quincy.
Bake says those planning to use the service should enter the fairgrounds via South Sprague Street and must bring proper identification to verify residency.
