Bronson boys soccer completes season sweep of Quincy with 7-5 win

QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Bronson improved to 4-4 overall and 3-1 in the Big 8 with a 7-5 win at Quincy Monday night. The Vikings also defeated the Orioles 5-1 back on September 2nd.

Sophomore Ithan Granados scored five goals for Bronson, setting new school records for most goals in a season (20) and in a career (26) along the way. Cesar Uriostegui had a goal and an assist, and Ryan Green added a goal, while Julian Valle and Gael Aguilar recorded assists.

For Quincy, Carl Dessir and Anderson Suever each scored twice, Max Woodward added a goal, and Bentley Swift recorded an assist. Dane Johnson and Blaik Pierce shared time in goal; Johnson had six saves, and Pierce had two.

The Vikings return to action Thursday at Battle Creek Central. The Orioles, who are now 1-6-2 overall and 0-4 in the Big 8, will visit Onsted Thursday.
