Danny W. Corwin, 67, of Coldwater passed away Sunday September 20, 2026 at Beacon Health in Kalamazoo.
A service will be held Friday, September 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
Danny was born January 23, 1959 in Ann Arbor to Willard “Bill” and Nancy (Griswold) Corwin. He was a graduate of Coldwater High School and remained closely connected to the community throughout his life.
He was involved with the City of Coldwater and took a genuine interest in local government, civic affairs, and politics. Danny was very patriotic, A true American. He cared about his community and was never afraid to get involved, speak his mind, and take an active role in the issues that mattered to him.
Danny was also a member of Mensa International, reflecting his sharp mind, curiosity, and lifelong love of learning. He loved nature; whether kayaking or pursuing his interest in shooting, Danny appreciated the freedom and peace that came from being outdoors.
But above all else, family was at the heart of Danny’s life. He cherished the time he spent with those he loved and created countless memories with his family that will be treasured for years to come.
Danny is survived by his children, Danielle Duke of Coldwater, Dustin (Melissa Wells) Corwin of Kalamazoo, Tiffanie Corwin of Coldwater; his mother Nancy Corwin; his siblings Tina Marie (Michael) Smith, Tammy Jean Hagaman-Corwin; his grandchildren Gavin (Liv) Duke, Caden (Tehya Tennant) Duke, Kameron Corwin, Ava (Dominick) May, Mariella Corwin, Asher Corwin; his great granddaughter Paityn Duke, and Addilyn Duke on the way; and his dog Carlee.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Bill Corwin.
Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Branch County.
