Marsha Lucena Boehmke, 82, of Quincy passed away peacefully Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Insight Hospital amd Medical Center Coldwater.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place with no services to be held at this time.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
She was born September 29, 1943 in Coldwater, MI, to Noland and Ethel (Sherman) Strong. November 28, 1981, Marsha married Ronald J. Boehmke in Quincy. He preceded her in death April 4, 2019.
Marsha dedicated 30 years of her life to Hillsdale College, where she worked as a secretary before retiring. She took great pride in her work and in the many years she devoted herself to her career.
In her free time, Marsha found joy in the simple things in life. She enjoyed tending to her garden, getting lost in a good book, and spending time playing cards with family and friends. Above all, Marsha cherished the time she spent with the people she loved. Her warm presence, caring heart, and genuine appreciation for family and friendship made her someone who will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Marsha leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured by her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
Marsha leaves behind her children Robin (Timothy) Truax of Charlotte, MI, Amy Yeakey of Tekonsha, MI; her step-children John (Sheila) Boehmke of Michigan Center, MI, Robert (Shelbi) Boehmke of Petal, MS, Aaron (Lucinda) Boehmke of Coldwater, MI; her siblings Lowell (Pamela) Strong of Kinderhook, MI, Sandra Snellenberger of Quincy, MI; her 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, her several nieces and nephews, her best friend Jeanne McCaskey and her beloved cats Bonnie and Clyde.
In addition to her husband Ronald Boehmke, Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson Triston, and her brother-in-law Charles Snellenberger.
