COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Gas prices are down to begin the news work week, but still remain well above $4.00 per gallon.
According to AAA average cost across the state for a gallon of regular unleaded this morning is $4.67 per gallon down that’s down 24-cents from a week ago.
In Branch County after pushing $5.00 per gallon this time last Monday the average price per gallon is down 27-cents from a week ago to $4.27 per gallon.
Around the area It’s $4,49 per gallon in Hillsdale County, $4.58 in St Joseph County and $4.62 Calhoun County.
Across the state line in Indiana, It’s $3.68 per gallon in Steuben County.
The national average sits at $4.47 per gallon
As for Michigan Diesel prices they are up over $3.00 per gallon from a year ago, when it was $3.66, this morning the average price is at $6.77 per gallon.
