PARMA, MI (WTVB) – The second and final Interstate 8 cross country jamboree of the season was hosted by Parma Western at the adjacent Maxson Meadow. Coldwater’s boys team finished third with 84 points, just one point ahead of Marshall, while the Lady Cardinals placed fifth with 121 points. The host school won both races.
Ethan Aerts finished eighth to lead the boys team, while Sebastian Hernandez was 10th, Lucas Newberry 17th, Drew Vanderpuyl 19th, and Henry Koyl 34th. For the girls, Mya McBride was 14th, Ellerie Bucklin 26th, Miyah Moore 36th, Ella Thompson 37th, and Paula Mancera Rodriguez 41st.

Coldwater will run at the DeWitt Invitational on Saturday.
Earlier in the afternoon, the Legg Middle School boys finished third with 65 points; the girls did not have enough runners for a team score.
Maher Ahmed finished first in the boys race, with Gabriel Chacon third, Grady Arnold 14th, Gavin Hampton 24th, and Henry McCall 29th. Savannah Davenport led the LMS girls with her 15th place finish, followed by Giselle Gonzalez in 30th, Eliza Koyl in 43rd, and Savannah Hughes in 70th.
SPRINGPORT, MI – Sprinport hosted the second Big 8 jamboree of the season. Quincy won the boys race with 65 points, while Bronson was third with 94 points and Union City was fifth with 114 points. Quincy was second in the girls race with 57 points, just two ahead of third-place Bronson. Union City did not have enough runners for a team score.
For the Oriole boys, Hunter Walker was second, Carter Feltner fifth, Nathan Dunn 15th, Coy Wood 18th, and Nolan King 25th. For the Vikings, Brayton Cosby finished in seventh, while Adam Franks was 14th, Denver Siler 16th, Jack Ganton 28th, and Rylan Fincham 29th. For the Chargers, Cullen Decker was third, Noah June ninth, Luke McKown 27th, Luke Arlt 35th, and Anthony Mahley 40th.
For the Lady Orioles, Kendyl Musielewicz was fifth, Bailey Porter sixth, Lauren Tappenden 11th, Clare Robertson 24th, and Cali Richards 31st. For the Viking girls, Miriam Sanchez was eighth, Alonna Goodsell ninth, Piper Grigsby tenth, Adelynn Cosby 22nd, and Camila Albarran 29th. For the Lady Chargers, Parker Williams was 13th, Allison Gautsche 17th, Jasreman Kaur 19th, and Carly Smith 22nd.
