BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The third Big 8 Conference cross country jamboree of the season was run Tuesday on the campus of Bronson Junior/Senior High School. Quincy was first in the boys race, finishing with 54 points, while Bronson was third with 89 points, just one back of runner-up Concord. Union City finished sixth with 148 points. Bronson won the girls race with 60 points, four ahead of second-place Concord, while Quincy was third with 88 points, one ahead of fourth-place Stockbridge. Union City was sixth with 124 points.
In the boys race for the Orioles, Hunter Walker was second, Carter Feltner third, Nathan Dunn ninth, Coy Wood 18th, and Nolan King 22nd. For the Vikings, Brayton Cosby placed fourth, with Adam Franks 10th, Denver Siler 14th, Rylan Fincham 27th, and Jack Ganton 36th. For the Chargers, Noah June was eighth, Luke McKown 13th, Luke Arlt 29th, Anthony Mahley 43rd, and Jack Dibert 46th.
For Bronson in the girls race, Miriam Sanchez was third, just ahead of teammate Alonna Goodsell, while Piper Grigsby was ninth, Adelynn Cosby 18th, and Camila Albarran 26th. For Quincy, Lauren Tappenden was sixth, Kendyl Musielewicz eighth, Clare Robertson 20th, Peyton Proctor 24th, and Victoria Francis 30th. For Union City, Parker Williams finished 13th, Allison Gautsche 15th, and Jasreman Kaur 19th.

East Jackson will host the final conference jamboree next Tuesday. Before that, Bronson, Quincy, and Union City will run at the Hudson Booster Invitational on Saturday.
In the middle school boys race, Quincy finished fourth with 95 points. In the middle school girls race, Bronson was second with 66 points, Union City placed third with 77 points, and Quincy was fifth with 119 points. Individual results are also available at the above link.
