COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on October 27, at 4:35 p.m. to receive public feedback on the proposed 2027 County Budget.
The meeting will take place in the Commissioner’s Chambers at the Branch County Courthouse, located at 31 Division St. in Coldwater.
Held in accordance with Public Act 2 of 1968, the hearing is designed to gather community input on the General Appropriations Act, including the proposed 2027 Full-Time Staffing Plan for the General Fund, before the board moves forward with final adoption.
Residents interested in reviewing the financial details ahead of time can inspect a copy of the proposed budget starting October 13.
The documents will be accessible during regular business hours at the County Administrator’s Office and on the official Branch County website.
