LANSING, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has officially launched QuitLogix, a free mobile application designed to help state residents stop using tobacco and nicotine products.
Available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the app expands the reach of the state’s existing, confidential Michigan Tobacco Quitlink program.
Developed using feedback from program participants, the digital tool aims to lower barriers to health resources.
State Chief Medical Executive Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian noted that while quitting can be difficult, the app simplifies access to vital support so Michiganders can begin living healthier lifestyles.
Tailored for users aged 18 and older, QuitLogix provides a flexible, multi-platform approach that allows individuals to seamlessly switch between app tracking, website tools, and phone coaching.
MDHHS Public Health Coordinator Karen Brown says maybe the best feature of the program is it’s free to use
Key features include progress trackers, motivational reminders, bilingual support in English and Spanish, and a dedicated dashboard designed specifically for young adults between the ages of 18 and 24. Additionally, users can directly order free nicotine replacement therapies, such as nicotine patches or gum, right through the interface.
