COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Most local government agencies in Branch County will remain open for regular business hours on Columbus Day Monday, without interruption.
In contrast, all federal government agencies and financial institutions will be closed in observance of the holiday.
This means federal offices, federal courts, and United States Postal Service post offices will not open, and there will be no regular mail delivery.
Additionally, most banks and credit unions will observe the federal holiday by closing their branches, though automated teller machines (ATMs) and online banking services will remain fully accessible to the public.
