HOUSTON, Nov 4 (Reuters) – The Panama Canal expects to announce the pre-qualified bidders for a new terminal project by the end of the year, administrator Ilya Espino said on Wednesday, following an evaluation of initial proposals already received.
The shortlisted companies will then receive the request for proposals, she added at an event in Houston, advancing a tender process tied to one of the world’s most strategic shipping corridors.
