COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man has been charged with counterfeiting and possession of meth after being arrested this week by Coldwater City Police.
42-year old Dolliver Green was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon following a traffic stop on Morse Street. Police said Green was found to be driving on a suspended license, his second DWLS offense. During a pat down of Green outside his vehicle, officers said they found in his pocket a hollowed out pen with residue of crystal meth.
Officers also said they had an outstanding warrant for Green for allegedly using a counterfeit $100 bill at the Marshall Street Shell in Coldwater February 16, 2018. Police report that the station surveillance camera had footage of Green, who was known by officers, using the bogus bill to purchase some items and after he left the store, the manager called 911 to report the incident.
Green was arraigned yesterday with his bond set at $35,000 and a District Court probable cause hearing is set for March 29, 2018.
