COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Road Commission has announced that weight restrictions will be lifted on all Branch County roads as of 6:00 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2018.
Weight restrictions have been on Branch County roads since February 19.
With the rising and falling temperatures and the impact on roads, the Road Commission asked that normal legal loads be reduced by 35 percent on paved roads and 25 percent on concrete roads for all non-exempt vehicles.
The weight restrictions are being lifted as it looks like the weather has broken with highs getting well above freezing for the past two weeks.
Highs next week are expected to be in the 50’s next week which is above normal for this time of year.
